This graceful architectural design of Renzo Piano offers an ideal setting for contemplation of the unique collection assembled by Ernst Beyeler. Mr Beyeler profited from the folly of Japanese investors who paid excessive amounts for the work of 'name-brand' painters, then after the inevitable collapse, re-purchased the same works for about one-third of their previous prices.
